Beyond The Business of Law

Mr. Fensterman was appointed by Governor Paterson to serve on the New York State Public Health Council in 2008. In addition he serves on the Public Health Council Establishment Committee.  

Mr. Fensterman is a member of the Board o Trustees of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America - Long Island Chapter. Fensterman will be the organization’s honoree at the Annual Celebration and Gala Fundraiser in May of 2011.

The Abrams Fensterman firm is not just a law firm anymore. Partners are involved in ancillary businesses including consulting firms and part-ownership of nursing homes. Abrams Fensterman serves as a platform for all these opportunities.

Mr. Fensterman has recently been appointed to the newly formed Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) by New York State Governor David A. Paterson. The Public Health Council (PHC) and the State Hospital Review and Planning Council (SHRPC) were consolidated into the Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) on December 1, 2010.
